Please inquire if you are interested. They each measure 3 1/2 x 4 1/2 inches, and are as described. Thanks for taking the time to look.

This is photograph 17208 - Shone Canyon, Cody Road copyright Haynes. A
handwritten date Mon July 30 is at the top of this photograph. Could have
been purchased yesterday, it is in such good condition.
Also dated Sun July 30, the back tells us this is 14053, the Upper Fall of the
Yellowstone River, 109 Ft., and again copyright Haynes. We wish the person
had put the date on these photographs.
No date is written across the top of this one. However, the back tell us
that this is 13040 - Old Faithful Geyser, 150 Ft., C. Haynes, St. Paul -
slightly different from the previous two photographs.
Do you see the nice old touring car on the road, next to the rail. This
must have been quite a drive! The picture is numbered 18236 - Shoshone
Canyon and Tunnel, C. Haynes, St. Paul. The condition is so nice the
picture might have been made yesterday.
19099 - Grand Canyon from Artist Point, C Haynes, St. Paul. A distance
view in super condition.
10125 - Great Fall (Close-Up), 308 Ft., by Haynes, St. Paul. Dated July
29. Condition terrific.
22742 - Grand Canyon Hotel Lounge Toward Office, Copyright Haynes. A nice
interior picture in super condition. Dated across top Sun. July 29.
The first of this set (11850 - Two Bears Close-Up, by J.E. Haynes, St. Paul,
Minn.) has no date, the second one of the individual bear is dated, and is
number 11700 - A Park Bear, by J.E. Haynes, St. Paul, Minn.
10103 Upper Geyser Basin, by J.E. Haynes, St. Paul, Minn. is what is printed on
the back of this lovely picture. You'd think it was made yesterday, the
condition is so nice.
A shame there was no color film at the time this was made. This is 26357,
Mammoth Paint Pots, Lower Basin, copyright J.E. Haynes.
A spectacular view, we remember seeing it from the highway as we drove North to
the park entrance. This picture is number 12479, Grand Teton, 13,747 ft.,
from Snake River by Haynes.
A miniature photograph, tinted, of a pretty woman and two cats. The photo
itself is embossed and raised from the background with frame. It measures
2 1/4" x 1 1/2". On turning it over we discover that it is a
tiny or miniature postcard, made by Henry Clay & Brock Co. Ltd., Habana.
This is in wonderful condition and the message reads "Wish You Love The
Bunch of 22 from 23.33.71".
This is a tiny (1 1/2 x 2 1/4") cigarette card. Beneath the picture
of the somewhat scantily clad woman is printed "Cigarillos "La
Legitimidad", Habana". The back reads "Obsequio de la
Fabrica de Cigarillos "La Legitimida" a sus consumidores. There
is a message hand written in ink over the printed advertisement, difficult to
read, one wonders if it was done by the model. The picture is a
photograph, hand tinted, and quite nice.
A miniature postcard. This is a lovely tiny photograph of a couple, and it
has been hand tinted. In an oval frame. Turned over, on the back it
tells that this was made by Henry Clay and Bock & Co. Ltd., Habana (it is
printed in the stamp block). A hand written message says "You always
said you would, from (initials).
Some of us followed, with interest, Queen Elizabeth's recent progress from
Jamestown, and the 400th. Anniversary Celebration, to the Kentucky Derby, and on
to the White House for a state dinner. Who remembers when she came in
1976, for the bicentennial? Here she is seen entering Carpenter Hall, and
inside with the entourage which of course includes her husband, Prince
Phillip. Nice condition. ebay soon
A small photo, the mount being 2 1/2 x 3 1/2 inches, done by Biddle and Moulden
of Knoxville, Tenn. (printed beneath the photo). The back describes the
"Veno Process", 6 pictures for 25 cts. and tells how you can have them
made like this, by Biddle & Moulden at The Big Department Store, 18 and 20
Market Square, Knoxville, Tenn. The printer was "Ogden Bros. &
Co., Printers, 1880". Nice photographic advertising
piece.
This photograph measures approximately 5 x 7" and is mounted; mount
measures 9 x 7 1/2 approximately. Pictured is an old post-Victorian house,
and a man with a dog, and two women on the porch. The women are wearing
long dresses which would be consistent with the date on the back. A purple
ink stamp on the back reads: A.J. Friedl, Madison, Wis.
AMATEUR'S PHOTOGRAPHIC WORK, Practical Hints and Instruction; Developing and
Printing a Specialty Bell Phone 108 N. Francis Street.
There is a date as well: Jun 13 1909. Nice condition, as seen in
scan.
Iron Furnace, Hankow, China. The back gives such a good description of
this, that we aren't even going to try to. Nice condition, as seen in
scan. $5
A large photograph (approx. 8 x 10, or slightly larger), of, we believe,
Brookgreen Gardens. This is based on the Spanish moss in the live oak
trees, as well as the statuary seen. The back tells us, in light pencil,
that "Bobbie Heath, Jean and Dad visited here while at Myrtle Beach
7-10-45". Nice condition, unusual size for back then.
Who remembers when getting a new car was a really special occasion? We
expect that is what accounts for the picture of this lady all dressed up, along
with her brand new Ford. Who knows what year this is? make offer
A small (approx. 5 x 3") photograph, showing a ship and sailors. The
title is "Coaling Ship Guantanamo Bay, Cuba" in the lower left and at
lower right "Photo by A. Simon". Condition as seen in
scan. We don't think Navy ships take on coal anywhere any more do
they? So early 1900's no doubt, but no information on back.
This is a photo of the interior of the "Jefferson Davis Library, Beauvoir,
Miss." according to the title at the bottom; the photographer's copyright
is 1898, R.E. Hinchey; M.& O. R.R. Photogr, DeSoto, Mo. is what the imprint
says. The mount is somewhat worn, but the photo itself is in good
condition. We had another of the outside of Beauvoir, sold some time
ago. Sadly, we understand that this sustained quite a bit of damage from
Katrina in 2005. The photo measures approximately 7 1/2" tall, 9
1/2" wide; the approximate margin of the mount is slightly more than
9" high; 11" wide not counting the binding at right;- this appears to
have come from a folio. We have no more of the photos, we are sorry to
say. The two were all we have ever had or seen. SOLD
This is an early sepia tone snapshot, showing two children seated in a
wagon. Most likely they are brother and sister. Printed on the side
of the wagon it says "Sheffield Coaster". The picture itself is
about 4 1/4" long and nearly 3" high. We suppose very
early 1900's. A back stamp reads "This picture finished at Matthews
Studio Concord-Kannapolis, N.C. Order C-K $3
This is an early 1900's snapshot. Hand written in ink on the back "Vallie
Overcash". A photographer's back stamp reads "Richardson's Photo
Service, 538 Chestnut Street, Kannapolis, N.C." Slight flex upper
right corner, as seen in scan. Order Vallie $2
A snapshot of John F. Kennedy, on the back is dated by the developer Oct.
1960. Beach in the background. Parade at Cape Cod? We have no
information. Came from a recently deceased dealer's stock. Make
offer.
Lindall House, 393 Essex Street, Salem Mass. Moulton-Erickson Photo Co.,
published by Frank cousins' Bee-Hive. Advertising back says "New
Series Photographs of Salem mass., and Vicinity". Approximately 5
1/2" x 7". Super condition photo as can be seen in
scan.
