battle. If
you collect depictions of Native Americans (Indians), this may be for you.
This is a pristine photogravure by Goupil & Co.. We believe this may
be a proof pull of the plate because it is very dark, very distinct, the plate
is deeply impressed into the paper, and it was apparently cut by
hand. $20

July 15, 1900, a young girl wrote to her mother on this letterhead. As you
read the letter where "Uncle Eb is pounding away down stairs making
pills", you learn that she (Alice) is visiting Aunt Jennie and Uncle
Eben Gill. You see at the top of the letterhead that he is the proprietor
and manufacturer of Gill's Bilious and Liver Pills. Aside from liking the
patent medicine letterhead, we enjoyed the peek into the life of a girl in 1900,
where they "were going to make some calls", she asked for her paints
and paper from the paper press to make her aunt a picture, she mentions that
here the young women play tennis, etc. A different time,
indeed.

This is a really wonderful engraving of The Embarkation on the Mayflower for
America., A.D. 1620 Gebbie & Co. The artist was Baron Wappers, and the
copyright date is 1888, by Gebbie. We were strongly tempted to frame and
keep this, since one of us grew up not far from Plymouth. The back tells
the story better than we can, including the story of the artist. Please
email with any questions. Color variation at edges and slight pink in
middle is scanner reflection on the plastic sleeve - we did not want to undo
that, to protect the print. Dimensions are approximately 12 x 17
inches. $15
A small label from the Standard Drug Co., of Elizabeth City, N.C. for Aromatic
Spirits of Ammonia. Ladies who were prone to "falling out" or

nostalgic look back at this section more than half a century ago. Like new

located at 11 and 13 Whitehall St., Atlanta, Ga.

Feb 28 1953 is the date on this old paper credit card. A long time before
plastic with magnetic strips, it is amazing to us that this one survived in such
good condition. It was issued to Clay Moore of Helena, Montana by the
Phillips Petroleum Company; it was good at ten other oil company stations.
Inside there is a map of the country where it could be used as well as the logos
and names of the various gasoline and oil companies. $10

Found some time back, at a Raleigh venue, this is a gorgeous blotter of the Spray Water
Power & Land Co. Coincidentally, just after purchase of same, a
gentleman came by and said "I worked there in 1960". He was able
to tell us that Spray is now part of Eden. Looks engraved but is a
lithograph of many significant structures: The Spray Cotton Mills, Spray

Mills, etc. We are told that one of these was the forerunner of
Fieldcrest. As many as five available. Please inquire as to
